How to Submit a DMCA Notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice, please provide the following information:
- Your Authorized Signature: This may be a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Description of the Copyrighted Material: Provide a clear and detailed description of the work you believe has been infringed.
- Identification of the Infringing Material: Specify the exact location, such as the URL(s), of the allegedly infringing content.
- Statement of Good Faith: A declaration that you believe the use of the material is unauthorized.
- Accuracy Declaration: A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your Contact Information: Full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
Our Response to a Valid DMCA Notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the claim and may temporarily remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
- Notify the user responsible for the content and provide them with a copy of your notice, which may include your contact information.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If the user believes the content was removed in error, they may submit a counter-notification containing the following:
- Identification of the Removed Material: Specify the material and its location prior to removal.
- Statement of Good Faith: Declare under penalty of perjury that the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
- User Contact Information: Full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Consent Statement: Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court.
- User's Signature: A physical or electronic signature.
Resolution and Content Restoration
If we do not receive notice of legal action from the copyright owner within 10-14 business days after receiving a counter-notification, the content may be restored.
